Hi!
Are you going to make a version compatible with the new B+ revision?
This will require a change in the gpio physical connection, if I understand correctly?
Thanks,
Erez

HiFiBerry team Yes, it will need a new version. Yes, we will develop it.

Christi Scarborough Until that's ready, would it be possible to know the pin assignments to make a break out cable connecting the HiFiBerry to the B+? Thanks. -
HiFiBerry team This won't work as the driver also has to be changed.

Hello Daniel,
Do you have an idea when this new board/drivers will be released?
Thanks! -
HiFiBerry team I hope it will be soon. The first test prototype should be ready next week. Production will take some time. I hope we will have them ready in the first half of August.

cbayly Quick question, from what I've read during the announcement about the B+ boards, the first 26 GPIO pins have an identical layout. What causes the incompatibility between the B and the B+ for the Digi & DAC boards? -
HiFiBerry team The Digi and DAC boards use the P5 connector that does not exist anymore on the B+ port.

cbayly OH, of course, that makes sense then! Good luck with the respin on the board (at least it's just having the pins moved and not having them go awol, etc)!
