Hi there,
I am new to Raspberry Pi's and therefore new to HifiBerry. I just built up a new HiFi-System and was looking for streaming possibilities when I stumbled over HiFi-Berry.
I love DIY projects and so I just ordered everything I need to get this working :)
One question: I want to stream music from my PC (Win8) or probably Macbook. What software can i use? Only mplayer and VLC? How about iTunes or WinAmp?
If those arnt working, could "Virtual Audio Cable" somehow provide help?
Thanks for your answers and thanks for your product!

HiFiBerry team Dear Martin,
every Linux software that uses the ALSA subsystem works with the DAC. For streaming from iTunes, shairplay works very well. This is already included in some distributions like Volumio.
Best regards
