HiFiBerry team Wireless dropouts are not unusual. As 192kHz material requires a higher bandwidth it makes sense that you see this only at 192/24. Try moving you system closer to the access point and see if something changes.

Yep, your wifi has to be good.
Check wifi signal strength and bandwidth to the Pi if your router / wireless AP provides this information.
I'm using RPi 4B's as server and client to play multiple 96kHz 32-bit audio streams. I was getting dropouts and found the Pis had connected to my 2.4 GHz network for some reason. I have both 2.4 and 5 on the same SSID. Check your Pi is connecting to 5GHz.
Once is steering both Pi's to 5 GHz it works perfectly. Three streams of 96kHz 32-bit stereo shows roughly 25 Mbps throughput.
I'm using Mopidy and Snapcast; so it's different software.

HiFiBerry team 5GHz networks are quite good if there's a lot of traffic in the 2.4GHz region. However, the range is lower. If you have a a long distance to the access point or lots of walls in between, 2.4GHz might work better.
