Beginner looking for advice (Phono input to a WiFi Speaker)

I recently dug my old Technics record player out of storage, and while it still works great, I no longer have access to the amp/receiver setup I once had it attached to, so I'm starting from scratch, and would love to use a HiFiBerry setup.

These are the main constraints for the project:

  • • The player will have a dedicated home in a room with limited wall outlets, so it may need to run on a battery pack.
  • • The player is old enough it's a straight phono output, so I'll likely need a preamp (I was looking at the i2Audio Phono One).
  • • The room the player will be in already has a quality speaker, the Ikea/Sonos Symfonisk. The drawback is that this speaker only has WiFi connect.

I'm optimistic I can achieve what I want for the project, I just need some guidance and advice. In my mind it makes sense, but Is it possible to build a single HiFiBerry setup that pushes the phono signal through a preamp, then to an amp, then to a WiFi transmitter that can broadcast to the speaker?
