AMP4 / AMP4 Pro with PiCorePlayer

Hello,

Does anyone know if a AMP4 or AMP4 Pro does work with PiCorePlayer on a Raspberry Pi 3 (or 4 / 5, but at this moment I am using Raspberry Pi 3 with 1GB RAM).

The Amp4 should work fine with older releases, the Amp4 Pro requires an up-to-date kernel (not later than March 2024). I can't say what PiCorePlayer is using. However, squeezelite is also available in HiFiBerryOS and HiFiBerryOS64 supports boths Amp2 and the Pi3,4 and 5.

Hello, it looks like it is using kernel 6.1.77, is that ok for AMP4 Pro?

I don't remember the first kernel version it has been integrated. Check if there's an amp4 pro overlay file in /boot/overlays
