I am using a beocreate for over a year with the stable hifiberry 20230404. Today I installed a beocreate with the hifiberry64 alpha 7.
It seems impossible to get proper control over the startup volumelevel.
On 20230404 the setting is read from alsactl.store. On alpha 7 it is not, it will always be at 100%.
On 20230404 when connecting from a spotify client the volume will go to 50%, not sure why. But this seems to be only once after a reboot.
I also tried to "store sound adjustments" in sound>DSP programs. This didn't work either.
I have 2 questions:
- where can I set the startup volume level for hifiberry64alpha7?
- where can I set a default volumelevel for spotify? For both the stable alpha version of hifiberry.
