I have a few DAC+ Pros. There is a green LED near the center of the board. It flashes briefly about every 22 seconds and some noise is sent to the amplifier. This has happened on a RasPi 4b and a 5, running Ubuntu Desktop and RasPi OS. How to stop this? Any help will be appreciated.

HiFiBerry team This shows that some process plays something every 2.2 seconds as the green LED shows playback activity. Unfortunately I have no idea what process this might be. Also I haven't heard this from other users before.

Michael MacIsaac Thanks for the info - it helps. I'm running a PVA stack called Minimy which is probably the culprit. I'll try to debug when it happens again.

HiFiBerry team What exactly is this Minimy software doing? Never heard about it.

Michael MacIsaac It is an open-source personal voice assistant: https://github.com/mike99mac/minimy-mike99mac
Minimy is a "mini Mycroft". Mycroft was a startup burning on VC, but it flared out. One of the employees simplified the code, trying to save the company, but it didn't help. He put it on github, I forked it and adapted a music playing skill.
It is installed on a Raspberry Pi, running Linux of course. I was settling on Ubuntu Desktop on the RasPi 4, but haven't been able to install it on the new RasPi 5, so I switched to Raspberry Pi OS. I also found that a fan is needed or the CPU runs too hot, but it's worth it because the 5 is MUCH faster.

Oh, while I'm here, are there any plans for a DAC HAT with a form factor that will fit in the Raspberry Pi 400? I've only found one, but the driver is, um, ... garbage ... (I have found HiFiBerry has the best hardware/software combo :))
