Hello. I'm running HiFiBerryOS (last version, auto update) for 4 years maybe and I've ALWAYS had random pauses. Sometimes more frequently, sometimes less frequently. I thought it was related to volume (and therefore related to insufficient PSU power, or maybe thermal buildup), but I'm not sure anymore.
I decided to buy a more powerful PSU, but when I ran it through a power meter, I noticed it only used 10W max.
Then I stumbled upon this thread (https://support.hifiberry.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4414420942097-HiFiberry-OS-Randomly-Pauses?input_string=Random%20pauses) and ran
journalctl -f
and got this back:

I suspect my WiFi router might have something to do with it... It's a Mikrotik and I hear it's WiFi is kinda finicky to set up to run smoothly...
