Hi, I'm working on a project which involves an Hifiberry DAC+ADC Pro, but also a LCD display interfaced over I2C. I've read that there could be conflicts between the Hifiberry's use of I2c and other slave devices. But I'd like to know : how can I check that there are no issues with the Hifiberry when I add the LCD display ? What functions is the I2C used for for the Hifiberry, that I can test if everything is working correctly ?

Check the addresses using ic2detect. But even with different addresses, there can still be issues e.g. if the bus is terminated twice. If you can debug I2C, just check with an oscilloscope, otherwise you can just try if it works.
Thanks for your answer. Indeed the plan for me is just to plug it, see if it works. But my question is : how can I see if it works ? What are the functions of the Hifiberry that will be affected if it doesn't ? Will the card stop functioning altogether, or is it just some configuration options that would stop working ? What should I look for ?
