RP4B + DAC2 HD + HifiBerry OS + Logitech Media Server + iPeng

Hello:

I've been using this configuration since 2020 and all worked well until a few months back.  Fortunately I have an identical configuration and thus have a working player that connects correctly to my music server (Mac running LMS).

The player and configuration mentioned in the title is not recognized by my iPeng software after having worked for years with no issue.  I have tried reinstalling HifiBerry OS on to a new card.  No help.  I have changed power supplies.  No help.  I have changed the cables that connect the DAC2 HD to my amp.  No help.  The device is connected via ethernet, and I can log into the HIFIBerry using a browser with no issue.  I don't know how to tell if there is a problem with the DAC2 HD.  Can someone help me understand how to troubleshoot / identify the issue?

Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks.

  I can't really say something about iPeng. Does it work just by controlling it via the LMS web interface? it has nothing to do with something on the Pi at all.

  I managed to get things working.  When I re-imaged the card for the device, I forgot that I had to reconfigure the sources.  My mistake.   I did that a short while ago and all seems to be working correctly now.  The original problem was probably something going wrong during an update, or the image on the card being corrupted.  The refresh, along with reconfiguring my sources, seems to have fixed things.

  I included the info on using iPeng just to be complete about my environment.  iPeng is an IOS client for talking to LMS servers.
