Question on HiFiBerry & Screen Resolution

Hi there,

I have a spare CM4 and a Waveshare CM4-DISP-BASE-5A.
Naturally before I start going out and shop for hardware... I was trying to find out whether this would work for HiFiBerry.

Anyway, the short story is that I eventually figured out that HiFiBerry OS wont boot from NVMe and I also eventually figured out how to make the screen work since it needed additional configuration files.

The question I wanted to ask is... is there a minimum screen resolution requirement for the HBOS GUI or Is there a way to force a certain resolution? Because the aforementioned screen has a native resolution of 800x480 but the GUI seems to be rendering at a larger resolution with the result being that part of the GUI is off screen rather than scaling down to fit.

  While there is no minimal resolution, it don't think it's gonna work well with a 5" display. We never tested something like this. 
  Are you using HiFiBerryOS64 or the "normal" HiFiBerryOS? Especially on HBOS64, the whole screen rendering is not working well yet.

  Sorry, yes this is HBOS64 as it is the only image I managed to boot up on the CM4.

  This makes a lot of sense then!

  The only other Pis I have is a Zero2W or a Pi5 all of which are not yet support either. lol
