My new 8gb Pi5 won't recognise the Dac2 HD card. I've updated and upgraded Bookworm on the Pi5. The Dac2 HD card is recognised on my Pi4 running Bullseye (but it doesn't work with the Pi4 and Bookworm).
dtoverlay=hifiberry-dacplushd
force_eeprom_read=0
Also tried:
dtoverlay=hifiberry-dacplushd,slave
Apart from above the Pi5 /boot/config.txt is as default.
But always;
sudo aplay -l
**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: vc4hdmi0 [vc4-hdmi-0], device 0: MAI PCM i2s-hifi-0 [MAI PCM i2s-hifi-0]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 1: vc4hdmi1 [vc4-hdmi-1], device 0: MAI PCM i2s-hifi-0 [MAI PCM i2s-hifi-0]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
Also tried;
/etc/asound.conf;
pcm.!default {
type hw card 0
}
ctl.!default {
type hw card 0
To no effect.
I would be very grateful for any information.
