I bought a Hifiberry Digi+ and a steel case in 2018 for a home music player. I put it all together, but a couple of years later the Digi+ card seems to have died. I've been trying to figure out how to take apart the steel case, so I can remove the card and then reuse the RPi with a new sound card, but can't figure out how to do it.
Does anybody have a video of taking apart the Digi+ and its steel case?

Just slightly bend the side that snaps into the phone jack that you can move it up. Then slight the cover upwards. It will need some slight force, but not a lot.
Could I suggest that this would be a good subject for a video available on your site? B/c .... well, the amount of force required is the tricky part, and it's hard to judge. I don't want to damage the case, after all. Seeing somebody do it would be helpful.
A video wouldn't show you the force. Just wiggle around a bit. Cover and bottom are simply hold together by the 40-pin header and the phone jack.
