I have a Hifiberry Amp2 + Raspberry 4, but the HifiberryOS won't boot. RaspbianOS works as it should, it also detects the Hifiberry as a sound card. I am using a 16GB SD-Card and used Etcher to get the HifiberryOS on to the SD-Card, but as I insert the SD-Card, nothing happens. Normally the Raspberry starts to blink green when I boot RaspbianOS, but it doesn't with HifiberryOS. I got a screen connected and it doesn't show anything, and the WIFI signal also doesn't show. What can I do?

HiFiBerry team First, connect a screen and check if it's booting at all. If it doesn't even load the kernel, you should get some message on the screen or a rainbow screen.

Jan Perné Hmm, my screen is pitch black when I connect it, could it be a hardware issue?
-
HiFiBerry team If the system boots Raspberry Pi OS, the hardware is just fine. What happens if you just remove the SD card?
-
Jan Perné nothing happens, screen is still black. It doesn't recognise the Berry as an Input
-
HiFiBerry team Could be a defective SD card or the image is not written correctly.
-
Jan Perné I'll try, but the Raspberry Pi OS works just fine with the card.
-
Jan Perné Tried a new SD-Card but it didn't boot either.
-
HiFiBerry team You might be using an incorrect image. Make sure you use the Pi4 image. Download it again and check that it it written correctly to the SD card.

Jan Perné Hey, tried with a new SD-Card but it also did not work
-
HiFiBerry team Unfortunately I can't say what else might be causing this. We would need the Pi and the Amp in our lab to check what's wrong.
-
Jan Perné Is it possible to send it in?
-
HiFiBerry team Yes, we can do this. We would need the Pi, the Amp and the SD card to check this. Please send a mail to support@hifiberry.com if you want us to check it.

hifiberrysup hi, Im a newbie in the forum and don't know if this is the right tread - but here I am.
I got the same problem after updating via RPi imager, (tried to upgrade due to problem with overhearing then changing from Volumioradio to Spotify and vice versa).
But with the new SD Boot stick, the Raspberry PI 4 with Hafiberry AMP 2 will not start, the start upp log shows :
....
[OK] Starting Save/Restore Sound Card State ....
[Faild] Failed to start Common from Kernel Command Line.
See 'systemctl status kernel-command-line.service' for details
[DEPEND] ......
Im now going to down grade to an older Hifiberry OS if nothing other suggested.
