Unable to update to 20230404 (Beocreate)

I see in the UI of my hifiberry that a system update is available. See attached pic1.png
I press the button "Update Now". Screen changes to blinking circles with updating text (see attached pic2.png).
It stops and the screen comes back to its initial state (pic1). Hifiberry was not updated.

I repeated the sentence of those actions several times and no update is happening.

Moreover, I tried to update hifiberry from the console (ssh).
I see the strange message after running /opt/hifiberry/bin/update (pic3)
# sh update

you are already using the latest version (20230223 vs. 20221128)

I think UI 20230404 is the last one.....

  Slawek, after having read the issues with release 20230404 I have decided to stick with my current release. I think it is better to wait for a newer release, hoping that it will be an improvement. Maybe the problem with the remote control in release 20230404 is the reason why Hifyberry is not enabling to install this update anymore.

  Well, the problem existed also in previous versions. I decided to upgrade because I hoped this issue disappeared. It was not 😔

  We're working on a completely new 64bit release. I hope we can still have a beta-version ready this year. However, due to the major changes in architecture, it won't be possible to upgrade directly from 32bit to the new 64 bit version.

  First - thank you for the update - I believe the issue with pictures will be fixed in the new 64-bit release.

  Second - it looks like a simple upgrade will not work and if I understand well new version has to be installed from scratch. Correct?

  if yes - I hope it automatically installs the proper code for Beocreate boards and B&O Speakers. Could you please confirm?
