Beocreate hardware config for one 120 Watt Mono Output

I built a mono subwoofer (i.e. just one driver in it).

I assume that I can put the outputs of the two BeoCreate 60 Watts amplifiers in series (connect the '+' of the left channel output with '-' of the right channel output).

The loudspeaker driver will then be connected between '-' of the left and '+' of the right channel.

By this the two outputs are added to one mono channel with 120 Watt.

This should be allowed, as all the output pins of the amplifier are isolated to each other.

Or is there anything why this shouldn't be allowed?

  No, you can't do this. The outputs are H-bridges that can't be connected in series. That's the same with almost any Class-D amplifier.

  Thanks for this detail.

  So let's remove the short-circuit of my idea.
  However let's still use the remaining part.

  The resulting simplified configuration is to just connect the single driver to left '-' and right '+'.
  This would be a 60 Watts Mono output (i.e. addition of 50% left and 50% right).

  An optional second driver could be connected to right '-' and left '+', whicht is also a Mono output.

  The advantage is, that it's just about how to connect the Mono Subwoofer. No additional DSP programming is needed for this.

  Any objections to this configuration?
