I am pretty new to this sound topic. I have an hifiberry with an amp2 connected to two speakers that I use to stream my music. It works like a charm.
Now, I want to connect my TV to the hifiberry. My tv has one digital audio coaxial output. So I guess I need a coaxial input on the hifiberry. What do you think of the setup ? Which product should I use ?

There is no product that you can add to your Amp2. For a TOSLink input, the Beocreate 4-channel amplifier would be the best choice.

Thanks but due to the price, I would like to try sticking with amp 2 first.
Would it be possible to retrieve the TV sound using a bluetooth tv transmitter connected to the coaxial? What would be the latency and the quality?
Theoretically: Yes. That's all I can say. In general we recommend only to use BT if nothing else is working because it is the worst in terms of quality and latency. I can't comment on specific products and how well or if they will work.
