Hi, I've noticed that the mpd keeps updating all the time.

It looks like one update process finishes, the next one starts with a new number - as in a loop.

Is it a normal behaviour? Is there a way to stop the loop?

  Hi there,

   

  A bit late but perhaps it could still be useful for other people experiencing the same problem. I also noticed that the mpd update got stuck in a loop so I went ahead and deleted all the .cue files on my drive and that fixed the issue.

  Hi Kristof, thanks for your feedback,

  so it seems the issue is in MPD rather than in HiFiBerry OS. Any idea if this was reported to the MPD team? And if they fix it, could the HiFiBerry team upgrade the MPD version in the HiFiBerry OS, please?

  Do you know if ignoring the .cue files (mentioned in the linked discussion) resolves the problem? I'd rather not delete my .cue's, if possible.

  I have checked the MPD changelog and there were many fixes regarding cue files since the 0.22.4 (which is currently bundled in the newest HiFiBerry OS). Could the HiFiBerry team upgrade the MPD version in the HiFiBerry OS, please?
