DAC+ Pro: not attaching as a Pi HAT?

Hi,

What are the advantages of connecting DAC+ Pro to the RPi using jumpers (i.e., not attaching DAC+ as Pi HAT)? Since RPi core switching will all be in MHz range, there won't any harmonics that can interfere with audio sampling clocks supported (44.1 - 192kHz) -- am I correct.

I want to use the RPi GPIOs without having to solder a header on the DAC+, so this is the only approach without having to solder headers on the  DAC+ .

  There are no advantages. Additional cables can result in instabilities. We don't recommend this and can't guarantee it will work. If it is absolutely necessary, keep the cables as short as possible.
