Hi! I’m using a Hifiberry DAC+ Pro, Raspberry Pi 3 and the official 7" touchscreen. I have bought an iFi iPower supply (5V, 2.5A). Is this sufficient (and recommended) to power the HifiBerry, the Pi and touchscreen as well? I still have the original Raspberry Pi power supply, too, and I know that I could split the suppy by removing the 0 ohms resistor. But I want to use two supplies only if really necessary because of the touchscreen. What do you think?

HiFiBerry team A stable 2.5A power supply should be enough to power the Raspberry Pi and a display. The additional power consumption of the DAC+ Pro is almost negligible.
