Hifiberry DAC+ Phone + RPi3 + raspbian no audio output

Hello

I have problems with my dac + phone.

I installed everything according to this: https://www.hifiberry.com/build/documentation/configuring-linux-3-18-x/

but running mplayer returns:

The LED on the Board is on when mplayer is running.

the device itself seems to be found somehow:

I first hat my pi running, then it somewhen stopped working, then I tried an other raspberry pi 3, reinstalling with raspbian, reinstalling with the raspbian-image from hifiberry, finally I came to the conclusion, that I killed my hifiberry (peerhaps shortend it accidentaly somewhen, dont know) and bought a new one. But I still wont get audio output.

thats where I am kind of stuck right now.
