I have a Raspberry Pi 2 Model B. After I installed a DAC+ Standard I notice some lag with RasPlex. Stuff like: menu navigation is a few ms slower and when I stop, pause, play, etc it takes a second a two longer to respond.
I am powering the DAC+ with my raspberry pi which is using a 5V 2.1A power supply. When I boot the pi I am seeing the icon in the corner that indicates that it is under powered.
Would an under powered raspberry pi affect the response time of RasPlex?
If the answer is yes what power supply is recommended? I would like to avoid soldering an external power supply directly to the DAC+.
