New HiFiBerry Digi+ Pro not working

Hi,

I just received my HiFiBerry Digi+ Pro board. However, I have problems getting it to work, and I don't even know where should I look.

First and foremost, there's no LED shining on the board when it's plugged in and RPi3 is powered via USB. It's revision 1.2 board, so I'm not sure if there even should be a LED somewhere...?

I've tried with coax as well as with toslink, neither work. I do not get red light from toslink either.

The board is a new Raspberry Pi 3. HiFiBerry installer downloaded today, and installed Volumio with it. I'm using a 5V 2.4A iPad charger to power, so it shouldn't be a power problem either. It should work by just powering the Pi, right? No additional power supplies to P3 or P5 should be required, right?

Volumio settings say

Audio Output: sndrpihifiberry
I2S DAC: None

Is that correct?

This is the output for './check-system' (volumio user):

To make things worse, I'm completely new with HiFiBerry as well as with Volumio. The Volumio UI doesn't seem to work either; I can select songs, but when I try to play those, it doesn't seem like the playback ever starts. Don't know if I'm doing something wrong though :P

At this point, all help is greatly accepted :) Thanx you so much already at this point.
