Hi guys, I'm hoping to create a small "notification speaker" for my home automation system to do voice announcements. It needs to be loud enough to hear but doesn't need booming bass or anything.
I'm wondering if a single speaker could be bridged on the MINIAMP?
If so, would someone be able to recommend a decent speaker that I can mount in a custom wooden box?
Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately the MiniAmp can't be bridged. I don't have specific recommendations, but you should look for high-efficiency speakers. Using a speaker with 89db/W will already give you about 93db which is quite loud.
I use the MiniAmp with a Visaton FR 13-4 which is more than lud enough for me. Is has an efficiency of 88db/W

Unfortunately this isn't possible. The circuit you've posted only works for line-level outputs, not Class-D speaker outputs. If you want to connect a single speaker, you can only connect it to one of the 2 outputs.

The Visaton FR 13-4 is listed as a 30W speaker. Does this work well with the MINIAMP or do you need to be carefull not to overheat/burn it?

there is no risk to overheat or burn the MiniAmp. You won't be able to drive the FR13-4 to it's maximum volume, but it this is ok for you, it will work fine.
