In my setup I use both the room compensation and parametric eq functions of HifiberryOS. Room compensation with a profile generated in HifiberryOS when I'm listening on speakers. And parametric eq when I'm listening through headphones.
What is the priority of these 2 dsp settings? Are they working together when a preset is selected for both? In other words, do I need to explicitly set the room compensation to "off" when I want to use just the parametric eq (when listening on headphones)? Or takes one priority over the other? And if so, which setting (rc or peq) has priority?
The other way around: when I want room compensation solely based on the generated profile, which 'Listening Mode' should I use for the PEQ to accomplish that no filters are active other than those of the generated profile?
